Haneda Airport has multiple lounges across Terminals 1, 2, and 3, broadly divided into “card lounges,” “airline lounges,” and “Priority Pass-only lounges.”

To cut to the chase: the lounges you can use after arrival, while waiting to be picked up, are “POWER LOUNGE CENTRAL” in the Terminal 1 1F arrival lobby and “ANA ARRIVAL LOUNGE” in the Terminal 2/3 international arrival lobbies. Also note that in 2026, JAL’s domestic (Terminal 1) lounges are under renovation, so if you’re planning to use them, we recommend checking in advance.

*The information in this article is current as of August 2026. Fees and business hours are subject to change, so please check each lounge’s or the airport’s official website for the latest details.

[Important] The JAL Domestic (Terminal 1) Lounges Are Under Renovation

Notice of JAL domestic lounge renovation

JAL began a full renovation of its domestic lounges and dedicated counters at Haneda Airport Terminal 1 in January 2026. The North and South Wings will each close for extended periods in turn, so anyone planning to use the Diamond Premier Lounge or Sakura Lounge should take note.

Renovation periodAffected areaAffected lounges
Phase 1: January 13, 2026 – around September 2026 (planned)North Wing closedDiamond Premier Lounge, Sakura Lounge
Phase 2: October 2026 – around June 2027 (planned)South Wing closedSame as above

During the renovation, you’ll need to use the lounge in whichever wing remains open, so expect more crowding than usual. We recommend checking real-time congestion status via the JAL official app or the airport’s in-terminal signage.

Haneda’s lounges come equipped with restrooms and shower rooms, complimentary drinks (soft drinks) and light snacks, plus free Wi-Fi and workspaces — making them useful for everything from personal downtime to business needs.

Lounges usable after arrival

Haneda Airport has two types of lounges you can use after you’ve landed.

POWER LOUNGE CENTRAL (Terminal 1)

  • Location: Terminal 1, 1F domestic arrival lobby
  • Hours: 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Price: ¥1,320 (tax included) for ages 13+, ¥660 (tax included) for ages 4–12, free for ages 0–3 / free with an eligible gold card

Since it’s located before security (in the general/public area), you can use it right after arrival. Seating is on the smaller side at 40 seats, but the seats are spaced generously, making for a relaxed atmosphere.

ANA ARRIVAL LOUNGE (Terminals 2 & 3 International)

  • Location: Terminal 2/3 arrival lobbies (general area, outside the restricted zone)
  • Hours: 5:00 AM – last flight departure
  • Eligibility: First Class passengers on ANA Group international flights, among others
  • Facilities: Restrooms, showers, baggage lockers, nursing room, smoking area, food and drink service

This lounge is designed specifically for use after you’ve disembarked and collected your luggage — a true “post-arrival” lounge. It’s also popular with business travelers who land early in the morning and head straight to the office. Note, however, that eligibility is limited to elite members on ANA Group international flights.

Card Lounges | POWER LOUNGE (Terminals 1 & 2)

POWER LOUNGE

POWER LOUNGE locations have opened one after another at Haneda Airport since 2017, and now number six across Terminals 1 and 2 (including Airport Lounge (South)). Every seat comes with power outlets, USB ports, and dedicated Wi-Fi, giving the space an open, modern café-like feel.

The T2 “POWER LOUNGE CENTRAL” has shower rooms (3 rooms, ¥1,320 for 30 minutes, last entry 7:30 PM), and the multi-purpose “P SPACE” area with mattresses (2 rooms, ¥1,100 per hour, last entry 7:00 PM) even allows for a private nap. Note that the T1 lounges do not have shower facilities.

Light meals are only served at POWER LOUNGE PREMIUM (described below); the other locations offer soft drinks only.

Premium/Upper-Tier Lounges | POWER LOUNGE PREMIUM and The Centurion Lounge

POWER LOUNGE PREMIUM

POWER LOUNGE PREMIUM (Terminal 2)

  • Location: Terminal 2, 3F domestic departure gate area
  • Hours: 6:30 AM – 1:30 AM (paid entry capped at 3 hours)
  • Price: ¥4,400 per person, ¥2,200 for ages 4–12, free for ages 0–3
  • Eligible cards: American Express (Platinum), JACCS (Platinum), Aplus (LUXURY CARD, PORSCHE, etc.), DragonPass, Priority Pass, MI Card (Platinum, Gold, etc.)
  • Services: À la carte dining, free drinks (including alcohol), shower rooms

This lounge requires a higher card tier than the standard POWER LOUNGE and offers an elevated experience with food and alcohol.

The Centurion Lounge (AMEX) | Terminal 3

The Centurion Lounge

Opened in 2025 as the brand’s first location in Japan, this is one of the newest lounges at Terminal 3.

  • Location: Terminal 3, 4F international departure gate area
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Eligibility: American Express Platinum, Business Platinum, Corporate Platinum, JR Central EX Platinum/Corporate, Centurion Card
  • Services: Buffet service, alcohol, free drinks, shower rooms

With dishes supervised by a Michelin-starred chef and original cocktails mixed to order by a bartender — all complimentary — this is a truly distinctive space that sets itself apart from other lounges.

Priority Pass Lounges

According to the official Priority Pass website, the following lounges and facilities at Haneda Airport are eligible:

  • POWER LOUNGE SOUTH / NORTH / CENTRAL (T1)
  • POWER LOUNGE NORTH / CENTRAL, Airport Lounge (South) (T2)
  • POWER LOUNGE PREMIUM (T2)
  • SKY LOUNGE SOUTH (T3)
  • Airport Cafe Lounge NODOKA (inside Haneda Airport Garden)
  • Dining: ALL DAY DINING GRANDE AILE (Haneda Airport Garden)
  • Relaxation: Body Care LUCK, Foot Bath Cafe & Body Care LUCK (T1)

SKY LOUNGE SOUTH is located near Gate 108 in the Terminal 3, 3F international departure gate area, open 24 hours, and offers a buffet, alcohol, showers, and even a smoking room — facilities that go well beyond a typical card lounge. Its appeal is that you can enjoy food and a shower even without airline elite status, but because of its popularity it can get crowded, sometimes with a wait to get in.

Relaxation facilities like Foot Bath Cafe & Body Care LUCK also offer a ¥3,400 discount with select Priority Pass memberships (such as those bundled with a Luxury Card).

Recommendations by Purpose

Recommended lounges by purpose

If you want to relax right after arrival

In Terminal 1, “POWER LOUNGE CENTRAL” is the option; for international arrivals with ANA elite status, “ANA ARRIVAL LOUNGE” is the choice.

If you want broad access with a gold card

The six POWER LOUNGE locations in T1/T2 (including Airport Lounge (South)) all accept the same eligible cards, including VISA, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, and d CARD GOLD.

If you hold a Priority Pass

In addition to the POWER LOUNGE network, you can also use SKY LOUNGE SOUTH (T3) and NODOKA (Haneda Airport Garden). SKY LOUNGE SOUTH stands out for offering food and showers, but keep in mind it can get crowded.

If you want a special experience

If you hold an American Express Platinum or higher, “The Centurion Lounge” (T3), which opened in 2025, offers Michelin-supervised cuisine and original cocktails.

If you need to hold a web meeting or online call

The private booths “STATION BOOTH” and “H¹T BOX” are the best fit.

NearMe Is Also a Great Way to Get To and From Haneda Airport!

NearMe

When heading to Haneda Airport, be sure to try “NearMe,” which takes you straight from wherever you like with no transfers.

Overview

NearMe is a flat-rate shuttle service that picks you up directly from wherever you like — your home, a hotel, and more — and takes you straight to the airport. With “shared rides,” where you ride alongside other passengers, you can save up to 80% compared to a regular taxi. It’s available 24 hours a day, so it also works for early-morning and late-night flights.

NearMe currently offers two ways to ride, so you can choose what fits your needs.

  • Door-to-door: We pick you up right in front of wherever you like — your home, hotel, workplace, and more.
  • NearMe Spot: A plan where you gather at a designated “virtual stop” near a specified station. This is even more affordable than door-to-door.

How to use it and pricing

Pricing by pickup/drop-off area is as follows (price per person when using a shared ride).

*1: Price per person when using a “shared ride.” *2: Reference price for a single passenger, including pickup fee and expressway tolls.

For example, in areas like Chiyoda and Koto Wards, a NearMe shared ride starts at ¥3,480, compared to a reference taxi price starting at ¥6,900. NearMe requires no expressway tolls, and in many areas comes to less than half the price of a taxi.

If you use a “NearMe Spot,” rides to and from Haneda Airport start at ¥2,480. New spots are continually being added near major stations, including Jiyugaoka, Sangenjaya, Gakugei-Daigaku, Seijogakuen-mae, Nakameguro, Komazawa-Daigaku-mae, Ebisu, Nishi-Shinjuku, Yoyogi-Uehara, and Akasaka-mitsuke.

Ways to save even more

  • Early-bird discount: Book at least 14 days before your ride for a discounted price.
  • Share discount: Get a discounted price if you have a fellow passenger, or if the date/time and route make it easy to find one.
  • Your first suitcase is free; each additional suitcase costs an extra ¥1,000.
  • Fully reservation-based with online payment, making pickup and drop-off smooth and hassle-free.

NearMe is a great fit if you:

  • Have an early-morning or late-night flight that doesn’t line up with train or bus schedules (no need to nap at the airport)
  • Feel uneasy about driving, or simply don’t want to drive
  • Have a lot of luggage, like suitcases, that makes transferring trains a hassle
  • Are heading to the airport with family or friends

A. In 2026, JAL’s Terminal 1 domestic lounges (Diamond Premier Lounge, Sakura Lounge) are undergoing a full renovation.
