Centrair (Chubu Centrair International Airport) lounges fall into three categories — “card lounges,” “airline lounges,” and “Priority Pass–eligible lounges” — and all of them are located in Terminal 1.

To cut to the chase: the lounges you can use after arrival or while waiting to pick someone up are the pre-security “Premium Lounge Centrair” and “Second Premium Lounge Centrair.” They’re free if you hold a qualifying gold card, or available for a fee if you don’t. After security, your options are the Centrair Airline Lounge (jointly operated by ANA and JAL), the international Sakura Lounge, and the Priority Pass–eligible lounges.

[Important] QUALIA LOUNGE Scheduled to Close on September 30, 2026

“QUALIA LOUNGE,” exclusive to members holding cards issued by Toyota Finance (Lexus Card, TS CUBIC CARD Gold), has announced it will end service on September 30, 2026, as part of a planned renovation of the airport’s lounges.

From October 1, 2026 onward, members are being directed to use the Premium Lounge Centrair or the Second Premium Lounge Centrair instead. If you hold one of these cards, be mindful of the timing of your visit.

Since the “Premium Lounge Centrair” and “Second Premium Lounge Centrair” are both located before security, you can use them right after arriving, or after collecting your luggage from a business trip, when you want to relax for a bit before your next move.

Second Premium Lounge Centrair

• Location: Terminal 1, 3F departure lobby
• Hours: 7:00 AM–8:30 PM (open year-round)
• Eligible cards: MUFG, DC, NICOS, UCS, Orico, Rakuten, Life, Aplus, MI, JACCS, Epos, American Express, au PAY
• Fee (same-day flight, no eligible card): ¥1,570 (tax included) for all ages

Since the eligible cards differ from the first lounge, this one tends to be a relatively uncrowded hidden gem. It features a COSTA COFFEE machine, so you can enjoy proper coffee. There are also group seats for 4–5 people, making it well-suited for families or groups of friends.

Airline Lounges

Centrair Airline Lounge (Domestic)

• Location: Terminal 1, 3F, domestic departure restricted area (near Gate 8)
• Hours: 6:00 AM until the last departure
• Seats: approx. 77
• Eligibility: ANA (premium-class passengers, Diamond/Platinum/Bronze members, SFC members, etc.), JAL (First Class passengers, Diamond/Sapphire/Global Club members, JGC Premier, oneworld Emerald/Sapphire members, etc.)

This is the only restricted-area lounge for domestic flights, jointly run by ANA and JAL. Beer, highballs, and other alcoholic drinks are provided free, but light snacks are limited to crackers and chocolate — there’s no proper meal menu. Every seat is equipped with power outlets and USB ports.

Sakura Lounge (International)

• Location: Terminal 1, 2F, international departure restricted area
• Hours: 7:00 AM–9:30 PM (subject to change depending on departure flight times)
• Seats: 128
• Eligibility: JAL Business Class/Premium Economy passengers, JMB Diamond/Sapphire members, JGC members, oneworld Emerald/Sapphire members, etc.

Renewed in March 2025, the lounge received a major overhaul of both its interior and menu. In addition to JAL’s original beef curry, guests can enjoy roughly 40 Nagoya-style dishes, including hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice) and kishimen noodles.

Those who meet the eligibility requirements above can use the lounge for free, but paid entry is not available for those who don’t qualify. There is no shower room.

Priority Pass–Eligible Lounges (International Restricted Area)

The Coral Finest Business Class Lounge “Uguisu” and “Kaede”

• Location: Terminal 1, 2F, international departure waiting area (near Gate 19)
• Hours: Uguisu — Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun 7:00 AM–9:30 PM (last admission 8:30 PM), Tue/Thu/Sat 7:00 AM–9:00 PM (last admission 8:15 PM); Kaede — 7:00 AM–11:00 AM (last admission 10:15 AM)

Opened in April 2025, this is Coral Lounge’s first location outside Thailand. It starts with a welcome drink of Thai milk tea, followed by an authentic Thai food buffet and a selection of alcoholic beverages. The signature Thai-style shoulder massage service has been temporarily suspended as of July 2026 according to the official website, so check the latest availability if you’re planning to use it.

Plaza Premium Lounge

• Location: Terminal 1, 2F, international departure waiting area (after passport control, past the “CHANEL” duty-free shop, down the elevator on the right from the 3rd to the 2nd floor)
• Hours: Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun 7:00 AM–10:30 PM, Tue/Thu/Sat 7:00 AM–9:30 PM (may extend depending on flight operations)
• General admission: Adults approx. ¥5,900, children (ages 2–11) ¥4,150
• Accepted: Priority Pass, Diners Club Card, Dragon Pass, select partner credit cards (American Express Platinum, etc.)

Opened in 2023, this is the latest-closing lounge in the international restricted area. It offers a wide variety of seating, including sofa seats with runway views by the window, counter seats, and partitioned workstations suited for web conferencing. A buffet of warm dishes — curry, udon (with self-serve toppings), pasta, and more — is available, and eligible airlines include Singapore Airlines, Air China, Thai Airways, Cathay Pacific, and many others. There is no shower room.

KAL Lounge (Korean Air)

• Location: Terminal 1, 2F, international departure waiting area
• Hours: 7:30 AM–2:30 PM (note if you’re taking an afternoon flight)
• Eligibility: Korean Air Business Class/First Class passengers, SkyTeam Elite Plus members, Priority Pass members

Draft beer, other alcohol, coffee, bread, and snacks are offered self-service, along with cup noodles like Shin Ramyun. Because of its short hours, it tends to be relatively uncrowded — a good fit if you want a quiet space.

If You Want Easy Access With a Gold Card

VISA, JCB, and Diners Club–family cards get you into the Premium Lounge Centrair, while Epos/Aeon–family cards, along with Epos, MI, and Orico cards, get you into the Second Premium Lounge. Check in advance which one your card is eligible for.

If You Want to Use Priority Pass for International Flights

If food quality matters most to you, we recommend the Coral Lounge “Uguisu,” which offers a Thai food buffet. Its hours vary by day of the week, and last admission is early, so if you have a late departure, be sure to check the closing time. The Plaza Premium Lounge stays open latest in the international restricted area.

If You Want to Work or Join Web Meetings

The partitioned workstations at the Plaza Premium Lounge are well-suited for this. The counter seats at the Second Premium Lounge, fully equipped with power outlets, are also good for business use.

If You Want to Take a Shower

None of Centrair’s international lounges have shower rooms. If you’re before security and hold a Priority Pass, we recommend using the “Kutsurogi-dokoro” bathing facility instead.

A. Between Nagoya Station and Centrair, NearMe’s shared ride starts at around ¥4,480, about one-fifth the cost of a taxi (approx. ¥20,950). The only lounges usable after arrival are the Premium Lounge and Second Premium Lounge; after security, your options become the Centrair Airline Lounge, the Sakura Lounge, or, for international flights, the various Priority Pass–eligible lounges. QUALIA LOUNGE members should also keep the end-of-September 2026 closure in mind and plan accordingly.
