Plan Description
Spend a half day in Little Edo Kawagoe without ever touching a train timetable. The warehouse-lined Ichibangai street holds two hours of exploring around the Toki no Kane bell tower and the snack alley Kashiya Yokocho, and Kitain Temple lets you take in five hundred stone rakan statues and the Daishido Hall at an unhurried pace. Add a sweet-potato treat or a bowl of eel for lunch. Traveling by private car makes the trip easier for families with small children, older travelers, and anyone loaded down with souvenirs.

Important Notes / Cancellation Policy
- If you are not at the pick-up location after your scheduled departure time, your booking will be automatically canceled.
- Delays may occur due to traffic conditions. Please allow plenty of time when making your reservation.
- If you wish to change the time or location, please cancel your current reservation and book again.
Cancellation Policy
Once the booking is confirmed, cancellation fees will apply under the following conditions:
- Up to 3 days before the departure date: Free
- 1 to 2 days before the departure date: 30% of the total fare
- On the departure date up to the scheduled time: 50% of the total fare
- After the scheduled departure time: 100% of the total fare
Q. What is the advantage of a private car to Kawagoe, which is also reachable by train?
Kawagoe is accessible by train, but that means transfers and a walk from the station to the sightseeing area. A private car makes moving around easier for families with small children or older travelers, and lets passengers keep shopping bags in the car instead of carrying them all day.
Q. Is admission to the Five Hundred Rakan included?
Admission to the Five Hundred Rakan at Kitain Temple and to other facilities is not included and is paid on site on the day.
Q. Is it crowded on weekends?
The Ichibangai area gets busy with visitors especially on weekends and holidays, which can slow down driving and parking. A weekday visit is recommended for a more relaxed pace.
