Plan Description

A full day out to Yanbaru, the farthest reaches of northern Okinawa. Trek through the subtropical forest and giant banyan trees of Daisekirinzan, then take in the view toward Yoron Island from the cliffs at Cape Hedo, the island's northernmost point. On the way back, stop at the Kayo Bay mangrove forest and walk its boardwalk through the subtropical wetlands. Public buses barely run this far north — a private car is the practical way to see it all without transfers.

No, it is paid on site. Please check the official website for the current rate.

This tour includes only a boardwalk walk through the mangroves. Canoe or SUP experiences must be booked separately with a local operator.

Q. How long is the drive from Naha to Cape Hedo?
