Plan Description

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall, loads the luggage, and heads not straight to the city but ten minutes up the coast to Tokoname, one of Japan's six ancient kiln towns. You climb Dokanzaka, a slope walled with clay pipes and shochu bottles, see the Nobori-gama climbing kiln that is a designated folk cultural property, and wander lanes dotted with ceramic cats. It turns the dead time between landing and hotel check-in into the first real stop of the trip.

Pick-up & Drop-off Points

Chubu Centrair Airport → Tokoname Pottery Footpath → Nagoya The reverse direction (Nagoya to Tokoname to the airport) costs the same. The start time is set to your flight.

Important Notes / Cancellation Policy

If you are not at the pick-up location after your scheduled departure time, your booking will be automatically canceled.
Delays may occur due to traffic conditions. Please allow plenty of time when making your reservation.
If you wish to change the time or location, please cancel your current reservation and book again.

Cancellation Policy

Once the booking is confirmed, cancellation fees will apply under the following conditions:

Up to 3 days before the departure date: Free
1 to 2 days before the departure date: 30% of the total fare
On the departure date up to the scheduled time: 50% of the total fare
After the scheduled departure time: 100% of the total fare

Q. How is this different from a fixed-fare airport taxi?

A fixed-fare airport taxi carries you from Centrair to the city for a set price, and for the ride alone it is cheaper. This plan uses charter time to stop in Tokoname on the way, with the car waiting while you walk around.

Q. Can we leave our suitcases in the car while we walk in Tokoname?

Yes. Luggage stays in the vehicle while you explore. We assign a minivan (up to 5 passengers) or a wagon (up to 9) depending on your party size and the amount of luggage.

Q. What happens if our flight is delayed?

Tell us your flight number when you book and the car is scheduled around your arrival time; you can also message the driver through the app once you land. If a long delay means the charter itself has to be extended, we may not be able to accommodate it depending on the driver's later bookings.
