Plan Description

You set out once the sun is down, starting in Sakae. From the observation deck of MIRAI TOWER the city spreads out in light, and directly below it the glass roof of Oasis 21, the Water Spaceship, holds a shallow film of water that mirrors the towers around it. Then down to Nagoya Port, where the Port Building and the ferris wheel are lit and the air smells of the bay. The last stop is the industrial waterfront, where refinery pipework turns into lines of light. Three areas that are awkward to link by train at night, joined with no waiting.

Important Notes / Cancellation Policy

If you are not at the pick-up location after your scheduled departure time, your booking will be automatically canceled.
Delays may occur due to traffic conditions. Please allow plenty of time when making your reservation.
If you wish to change the time or location, please cancel your current reservation and book again.

Cancellation Policy

Once the booking is confirmed, cancellation fees will apply under the following conditions:

Up to 3 days before the departure date: Free
1 to 2 days before the departure date: 30% of the total fare
On the departure date up to the scheduled time: 50% of the total fare
After the scheduled departure time: 100% of the total fare

Q. What time should we start?

Leaving about half an hour before sunset lets you see both the last of the sky and the city fully dark. As a guide that means around 19:30 in summer and around 17:30 in winter; we set the start time with you when you book.

Q. Is observation deck admission included?

No. Admission to paid facilities such as the MIRAI TOWER observation deck is paid locally. Evening opening hours and entry conditions can change with events, so we confirm what is open on your date beforehand.

Q. Can we get out of the car to photograph the factory lights?

The industrial waterfront is largely private and working land, so places to stand are limited. Where there is a safe viewing point you can get out and shoot, but this stop is mainly seen from the car. Let the driver know if you plan to use a tripod.
